About Me

Hi, I'm Keren, the author of this blog, sew la vie!


I'm a software developer, living in Israel. I fell in love with sewing in 2008 or so - starting with a baby blanket, then some clothes in an introductory sewing class, then more clothes, pillows, quilts, bags and what not. I love learning new and advanced sewing techniques, including haute couture techniques, hand-stitching, home decor, handbags, and lots more. I love the retro style (50's, 70's). I love teaching, blogging, and meeting wonderful crafters from around the world online. I'm attending a Pattern Making class which I really enjoy, so prepare to see clothes made using patterns I drafted myself!

• Getting inspired to make something just because I saw a fabric or some creation on a blog
• Proudly showing my creations to the world!
